Nursey Education Funding (NEF)
We accept government Universal (15 hours) funding for three and four year olds as well as the Extended (further 15 hours). Children will become funded the term after they turn three. Parents claiming the Extended hours (sometimes called 30 hours) must have applied for this funding the term before they start and must provide preschool with their code to be checked. We also accept two year old funding for eligible parents, this is valid the term after the child turns two. Parents must provide preschool with their code or funding letter. All sessions are subject to availability.
Everyone wishing to claim funded hours for their child must complete a PARENT/CARER AGREEMENT FORM FOR NURSERY EDUCATION FUNDING, failure to do by the requested date will result in your being charged to cover your funded hours for the half term.
You can increase/change hours subject to availability, this should be requested via email a minimum of:
for funded sessions - 2 weeks before the end of any term
for non funded sessions – 2 weeks before the end of any half term.
To withdraw from preschool please give 4 weeks’ notice in writing, otherwise you may be asked to pay for any funded hours left in the term, fees are non refundable.
Fees continue to be payable if a child is absent, but in cases of prolonged absence, parents should consult with the managers.
