NurseRy Education Funding (NEF)

We accept government Universal (15 hours) funding for working parents of 2, 3 and 4 year olds as well as the Extended (further 15 hours) for 3 and 4 year olds of working parents. Children will become eligible for their specific funding the term after they reach the appropriate age.

The 15 funded hours code for working parents of 2, 3 and 4 year olds must have been applied for the term before they start. This is an application by the parent to HMRC and not the responsibility of preschool.

There is a second form to be completed by you that is handed out by preschool, this is for parents to put down the hours they want to then claim from the local council on behalf of preschool. This must be completed by all parents who wish to claim any funded hours but not by parents who pay for all their child’s hours in full.

We also accept two year old funding for parents receiving government support. Parents must provide preschool with their code or funding letter.
