key workers

What our key workers do

Every child, and their family, is assigned a key worker. This person will be your direct link to preschool, it is the person who ensures your child’s needs are being met, who helps them to settle in and should be your first port of call for any questions or concerns. All our staff are friendly and on hand to help but it is your key worker with whom a firm relationship of trust is formed for both your child and you.

We work with your child to support and enhance their development working in tune with the Birth to 5 document. Please click the button below for more information on this.

Your key worker will be keen to know and understand your child in order to best support and teach your child. Staff will complete a 2 year check for each child who requires it, we are currently awaiting local Government confirmation of the reintroduction of the integrated checks with the Health Visitor. Staff will regularly feed back to you about how your child is getting on and will be happy to chat with you at the end of a session.
