Our ethos
To nurture every child and broaden their perspective, enrich their knowledge and spark the magic of wonder, providing a unique and stimulating outdoors setting and experience where each child can fulfil their potential giving them the confidence and skills to shape their lives.
The ways we make our ethos happen
By creating strong relationships with each child and their family.
By encouraging children’s inquisitive nature and desire to learn more about the world around them.
By teaching through real life experiences giving context to their understanding.
By continually improving how stimulating the setting is, and the experiences and support we offer.
We were most recently inspected in April 23 and rated ‘Outstanding’ for a second time in a row. You can view all our reports by clicking our Ofsted logo.
We work in collaboration with Little Forest Childcare, run by Tracy who caters for children from birth to 5 and provides wrap around care for children at our setting. We also work with The Fledglings, a home education provision for 4 to 7 year olds. Both settings are local and in line with our ethos of learning through nature and place huge value on the importance of wellbeing and holistic care and education promoted in the outdoors.
